How delivery works
- Pay on the secure checkout page.
- We email your order confirmation with your download links, and show them on screen too.
- Open the .xlsx in Excel, or in Google Sheets via File › Import › Upload. Your name and order number are on the cover tab.

Is this HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital software?
No. It is a spreadsheet for keeping your records and preparing figures, and it can't send anything to HMRC on its own. For Making Tax Digital for Income Tax you also need HMRC-recognised bridging software that is digitally linked to the spreadsheet; copying or retyping figures into other software doesn't meet HMRC's digital-link rules.
Which bridging software does it work with?
The quarterly summary tab is designed to be read by bridging software via a digital link. We haven't yet published a tested list, so check that your chosen bridging product supports reading a spreadsheet range before you rely on it.
Do I need MTD yet?
From 6 April 2026 if your qualifying income was over £50,000 in 2024/25; from April 2027 over £30,000; from April 2028 over £20,000. See who needs MTD.
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. It is an Excel (.xlsx) file with no macros. In Google Sheets, choose File › Import › Upload and pick the file. Your name and order number stay in the file.
Can I share it with my accountant?
Yes, you can give your completed workbook to your own accountant, bookkeeper or tax adviser. You can't share or resell the file itself. See the licence.
What if something is wrong with the file?
Email us with your order number and we'll fix or replace it; if we can't, you'll get a partial or full refund. See our Refund Policy.
Licence Personal use; no resale or sharing
Licence: personal use only. You may use and edit your file for your own personal records or your own business (including sharing your filled-in copy with your own accountant or bookkeeper). You may not resell, share, give away, redistribute or upload it, blank or edited. Each copy is stamped with its buyer's name and order number. Full licence terms.
Important: please read Not advice; not HMRC-recognised MTD software
The Money Sheets products are spreadsheet templates to help you organise your own records. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified adviser. Figures such as tax estimates, mileage rates and allowances are based on our understanding of the rules for the tax year shown and may not suit your circumstances. Check them, and get professional advice if you're unsure.
Not HMRC-recognised MTD software. Our workbooks are not HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital software and can't send anything to HMRC on their own. To meet Making Tax Digital for Income Tax you'll also need HMRC-compatible software. If you keep records in a spreadsheet, that means bridging software that is digitally linked to your spreadsheet. Copying, retyping or copy-pasting figures into other software doesn't meet HMRC's digital-link rules. Find compatible software on GOV.UK.
