Your right to cancel

Before checkout you ask us to make your files available straight away and confirm that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the download starts. See our Refund Policy. This does not affect your rights if a file is faulty or not as described.

What our files are

Our spreadsheets help you organise your own records. They are not tax, legal or financial advice, and they are not HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital software. You are responsible for the figures you enter and for checking the results.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business losses (such as lost profit) or for losses that were not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Changes and law

We may update these terms for future orders. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Your licence to use our files

What you're buying. When you buy a product, you are buying a licence to use the digital file(s), not ownership of them. All copyright and other rights in the files (including layout, formulas, structure, text and design) belong to The Money Sheets ("we", "us") or our licensors.

What you may do. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, store, edit and use the files: (a) for your own personal, household or family purposes; or (b) for the internal purposes of your own business, if you are a sole trader, landlord or one-person business. A business with more than one user needs one licence per user. You may make backup copies and give a copy of your completed workbook to your own accountant, bookkeeper or tax adviser, so they can help you.

What you may not do. You must not, and must not help anyone else to: (a) sell, resell, sub-license, rent, lend, give away or share the files, or any edited, translated or adapted version of them, whether blank or partly completed; (b) upload or make them available on any website, marketplace (including Etsy, eBay, Gumroad, Payhip, Creative Market or template sites), file-sharing service, shared or public drive, social media group, forum or course; (c) use them, or any substantial part of them, to create a competing product or template for sale or free distribution; (d) remove or alter the buyer name, order number, copyright notice or licence text stamped in the files; or (e) use them to train or prompt any AI model to reproduce them, or to produce competing templates.

Buyer stamping. Each file is stamped with the buyer's name and order number so we can identify licensed copies. We use this information only to deliver your order, protect our rights and deal with misuse, as explained in our Privacy Notice.

If you break these terms. If you materially breach the "What you may not do" clause, your licence ends automatically. You must delete all copies, and we may: (a) ask platforms and hosts to remove infringing copies; (b) disable your access to downloads and future updates; and (c) claim compensation for our losses or take other legal action. Ending your licence for breach does not affect any rights you have under our Refund Policy for faulty files, or other statutory rights.

Your statutory rights. Nothing in this licence limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
